My Favorite Fall Traditions

Fall is easily, hands down, without a doubt my favorite season. I eagerly anticipate it for weeks, and when it finally hits I have some ritualistic traditions that occur every year.

1. My First Day of Fall- I wear this dress and drink a pumpkin spice latte.

I wear this dress for the first day of fall- and I've been wearing it since high school!

2. Walk down Summit Avenue in St. Paul..

Two years ago we even did our engagement photos on Summit Avenue in the fall, we love it so much! Photo by Kelsey Sagen Photography

3. Go hiking

A friend introduced me to Westwood Hills Nature Center this past year, and it is now my favorite place to be outside! http://westwoodhillsnaturecenter.org/

4. Make soup.

This one is an Italian vegetable soup, but keep an eye out for my favorite soup recipe- I'll be posting it in a few weeks!

5. Listen to Billie Holiday

Billie's voice seems to perfectly match the season for me. Here's a great collection if you are unfamiliar. With thirty one songs for eight dollars you just can't go wrong. Photo by Amanda Faith Photography
